So I have been away from this forum for a while now. But today… I’m back!
Here I am with my youngest sister. She encouraged me to become an avid hiker like she is. I’m doing my utmost. It’s actually fun connecting with nature outdoors while keeping fit in order to deal head on with some of those trails.
So, besides playing music, this is what I sometimes do, too.
Giving thanks for her (Janelle) and for life!
It’s calypso history month in T&T and I’ve just been enjoying the vibes as I usually do. Music is really a wonderful thing - there’s no denying that.
So, for anyone who’s interested in having great entertainment at that special event you’re planning, don’t hesitate to give us a call… we always aim to delight!
Christmas, Carnival, Easter… it doesn’t matter because calypso has no season - it’s just year round fun and enjoyment with the music!
Drop us a line anytime!
GTECH/NLCB award and dinner was fun… as you can see! Great sound from Marcus S. who mixed us down really well. Grateful. Sound quality can make you or break you!
The client was pleased and so were we. 30 minutes of music, showcasing the works of calypsonians past and present… and a piece that was done especially for the awardees as only Kairi Kaiso can do it.
We’ve begun preparing for the next gig… and with Christmas around the corner, we know that it’ll be all good!
About a year ago I sent Kelvin a brief outlining some colours and a look and feel. Never in a million years did I expect that he would get into my head and come up with a logo as attractive, vibrant and emotive as the Kairi Kaiso logo!
Kelvin T. has worked on various projects with me over the years. He is a positive kind of guy on whom I can always count. I really am grateful to him and what he brings to the table whenever there is work to be done.
Check out the logo… how many subtleties do you perceive on the inside? I’m seeing a few.
Blessings to a great artist.

… and that sums up the comments we received yesterday (August 18) when we played at Crowne Plaza for a massive family reunion. What an occasion! I kept thinking how important it is to know family, to connect, meet, greet, love…
Kairi Kaiso played great music, celebrating the artists of Calypso. A former Calypso Monarch and Road March King was in the audience - Penguin. He was in his glee when we performed one of his better though lesser known compositions: Walking Proud.
That’s how I feel today… proud to have great support from my sister and brothers in the music.
